Kristin King-Ries is an attorney whose practice centers on community land trusts (“CLT”) and other shared equity ownership models. Kristin represents CLTs and other nonprofits on a range of legal matters. She serves as a consultant to the International Center for Community Land Trusts (formerly the Center for CLT Innovation), Agrarian Trust, and the Vermont Law and Graduate School's Center for Agriculture and Food Systems. Kristin was general counsel for Trust Montana from 2017-2021 and she has sat on several nonprofit boards of directors, including the Northwest Community Land Trust Coalition.
